Magnitude 7.9 Earthquake Near Lima, Peru

Revised: A magnitude 7.9 earthquake occurred about 90 miles (145 kilometers) southeast of Lima, Peru at a depth of about 25 miles (40 kilometers). The USGS shakemap shows VI through at least VII intensities in the area closest to the offshore epicenter. Internet Intensity Map
