Teenager Finds Australia’s Largest Dinosaur
May 3, 2007 | The Age

Now on display at the Queensland Museum are bones from the largest dinosaur ever found in Australia. The animal is a 26-meter long member of the Titanosaur family that lived in what is now Queensland about 100 million years ago. The bones were found by Sandy Mackenzie, who was 14 years old at the time of the find. Scott Hocknull, curator of geosciences says that Australia is now in the midst of a dinosaur rush.
