A series of public events is planned for November that is designed to call attention to earthquake preparedness. It will focus on how a magnitude 7.8 earthquake would impact California’s businesses, people and infrastructure. It is being coordinated by USGS, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and the California Office of Homeland Security.
