Knowledge Links Between Earth’s Age and Evolution

High school students who know that the earth is over four billion years old are more likely to have an understanding of evolution than students who do not know the age of the earth. Researchers believe that this can be traced back to what they were taught in science class – some are not being taught these topics in the proper scientific context.
