Induced Seismicity Potential in Energy Technologies

The National Research Council study on Induced Seismicity Potential in Energy Technologies found that hydraulic fracturing does not pose a high risk for inducing felt seismic events; however, injection for disposal of waste water does pose some risk for induced seismicity.
