Metallurgical Coal Exports are Up

Coal exports come in two forms: metallurgical coal, which can be used for steel production, and steam coal, which can be used for electricity generation. Metallurgical coal dominates U.S. coal exports. [...] In general, coal use abroad continued to grow.
