Toutatis Asteroid Passes by Earth

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4179_Toutatis, a three-mile wide asteroid, will pass within about 4,000,000 miles of earth on Wednesday morning. Then, on December 13th, Chang’e 2, the Chinese lunar probe will fly within a few hundred kilometers of the asteroid.
