Berlin is located in the northeastern region of Germany. This capital city is about 44 miles (70 kilometers) west of the Poland border.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image: There are numerous lakes, rivers and canals visible in this image, some of which are: Lakes Muggelsee, Langer See, Wannsee, Schwielowsee, and Tegeler See, the Havel River and Canal, Oder-Spree Canal, Notte Canal and the River Dahme. There is a considerable amount of visible forested and agricultural land surrounding the city.
