Guadalajara Profile:


Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico, located in the west-central part of the country. It is the capital city of the Mexican state of Jalisco.

This image shows numerous mountainous areas including the large forested reserve of Bosque la Primavera (Forest of the Spring), west of Guadalajara and the Parque Mirador Independencia, northwest of the city. Other physical features visible include: the Santiago River, lakes and canyons, such as the Oblatos Canyon. There are also man-made features which are visible including: large areas of agriculture, the International Airport of Guadalajara and the Base Aerea Militar Colegio del Aire.
