Jjakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. It is located on the northwest coast of Java, on the Java Sea.

Other features visible in this image include: Lake Cirata, Lake Jatiluhur, Teluk Jakarta, Liwung River, Keas River, and the Sadane River. Some are man-made areas of aquaculture or rice fields. To the south and southwest of the city is a volcanic range of mountains, which includes Mount Pangrango, Mount Gede, Mount Salak, and Mount Halimun. Also visible is the Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta International Airport to the northwest of the city.
