Jjakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. It is located on the northwest coast of Java, on the Java Sea.

To the south and southwest of the city is a volcanic range of mountains, which includes Mount Pangrango, Mount Gede, Mount Salak, and Mount Halimun. Also visible is the Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta International Airport to the northwest of the city.
