Kinshasa, the capital city of Democratic Republic of the Congo, is located on the Congo River in central Africa. It is about 320 miles from the Atlantic Ocean.

Visible to the north of the city and close to the Congo River is swampy area. In the northern and eastern regions is sign of agriculture. In addition, there is considerable cloud coverage in this image.
