El Zacatón Cenote - Map of the World's Deepest Water-Filled Sinkhole

El Zacatón is the world's deepest known water-filled sinkhole. It is located in southern Tamaulipas, Mexico. You can use the controls on the map above to zoom and and get a better look. In Central and South America, these open sinkholes floored with water are known as Cenotes.
