The specimens represent the type of material which is used for gem selection, but they are not necessarily of the high quality to produce a finished gem. Packaged in an attractive specimen box with a plastic tray to keep your collection organized. Specimens range in size from approximately 1/2 inch to over 1 inch in maximum dimension.
