This map shows the major streams and rivers of Maryland and some of the larger lakes. Most of Maryland is in the Atlantic Ocean Watershed and the rivers there drain into Chesapeake Bay. The Eastern Continental Divide passes through the western panhandle and the western most part of Maryland is in the Mississippi River Watershed. Most of these lakes and streams can be clearly seen on the Maryland Satellite Image.
