See our state high points map to learn about Mt. Katahdin at 5,268 feet - the highest point in Maine. The lowest point is Atlantic Ocean at Sea Level.

Maine Rivers Map - Maine Lake Map

This map shows the major streams and rivers of Maine and some of the larger lakes. The St. Lawrence Seaway Divide crosses Maine. The southeastern part of Maine is in the Atlantic Ocean Watershed and the northwestern part of the stat is in the Gulf of St. Lawrence Watershed. Most of these lakes and streams can be clearly seen on the Maine Satellite Image.
