Baghdad is the largest city in Iraq. It is located in east-central Iraq and is divided by the Tigris River.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:


Other features visible in this image include: the Tigris River, Saddam International Airport, Nahr Diyala River, Khair River, Zawra Park, Army Canal, numerous railroad tracks, and Al-Rashid Street. There is vegetation in the regions surrounding the city, especially close to the rivers. In addition, there is a show of encroaching sand to the east and far west.
