Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. This major tourist destination is located on the northeast coast of the Iberian Peninsula, facing the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of the other cities and communities which can be seen in this image include Castellbisbal, Rubi, Sant Cugat del Valles, Cerdanyola del Valles, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Montcada, Badalona, l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, el Prat de Llobregat, Gava, Castelldefels, Molins de Rei, Palleja and El Papiol.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:

There are numerous man-made and physical features which are visible in this image. Some of these features include: Mediterranean Sea, Llobregat River, Besos River, the Serra de Collserola ridge, Tibidabo Mountain, Torre de Collserola, Barcelona International Airport, Port of Barcelona, and the Canal Olimpic de Castelldefels can be seen in the lower left portion of the image. Several parks that are also visible include: Parc Natural del Garraf, Parc de Montjuic and Parc de la Ciutadella.
