Casablanca is a North African metropolis and the largest city of Morocco. The city on the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the world's largest artificial ports.

Other cities and communities which are also visible in this image include: Mohammedia, Ain Harrouda, Oulad Bou'abid, Mediouna, Sidi Hajaj, Dar Bou 'Azza, El Hank, Bourgogne, Afna-Superieur, Beausejour, Cite Hassani. Cite Ferrara, L'Oasis, Le Polo, Medina, Les Camps, Sidi Othmane, Habbous, Ain Diab, Ain Chock, and Ain Sebaa.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:


Other features visible in this image include: the Oum er-Rbia River, the river Ould Mellah valley, numerous lakes in the southwestern region of the satellite image, the Koudia Dehar el Akkar, Cap Mohammedia, Ras al 'Anq, and the Atlas Mountains are in the very southeastern corner or the image. A couple of the man-made features visible are the port of Casablanca, and areas of agriculture to the southeast, in the Atlas Mountain foothills.
