Mexico city is located in southcentral Mexico. It is the second most populated city in the world and the capital of Mexico.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:


Other features visible in this image include: very mountainous terrain to the east, west and south of Mexico City. This includes the glacier-clad stratovolcanoes, Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl located in the southeastern region of this image. Lakes, reservoirs and rivers are also visible including Lago de Texcoco, which is east of the city.
