Stockholm is next to the mouth of Lake Malaren, on the east coast of Sweden. The central part of Stockholm is stretched out over fourteen islands, and is Sweden's largest city and capital.

Other features include lakes, waterways and parks. Some of these are Lake Malaren, Laduviken, Brunnsviken, Kalltorpssjon, Altasjon, Flaten, Drevviken, Stora Vartan, Kungliga Djurgarden and Norra Djurgarden.
