Tianjin Profile:
Tianjin is in northeast China about 30 miles from Bo Hai (Gulf of Chihli). It is a leading international port city, due to it's connection to Bo Hai by way of the Hai River and Grand Canal.
Visible Communities in the Satellite Image: Some of the other cities, villages and communities which can be seen in this image include Hangu, Tanggu, Dagang, Jinghai, Wuqing, Ninghe, Jinnan, Dongli, Xiqing, Dasi, Beichen, Beltang, Xiguan, Lixin, Hougu, Gaojingzhuang, and Meichang.
Visible Features in the Satellite Image: Numerous rivers, lakes and canals can be seen in this image. Large areas surrounding the city are dedicated to various forms of aquaculture, including rice paddies and fish farms.
