Tianjin Profile:
Tianjin is in northeast China about 30 miles from Bo Hai (Gulf of Chihli). It is a leading international port city, due to it's connection to Bo Hai by way of the Hai River and Grand Canal.

Numerous rivers, lakes and canals can be seen in this image. Large areas surrounding the city are dedicated to various forms of aquaculture, including rice paddies and fish farms.
