Venice is a city in northeast Italy, located in the Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea. This "City of Water" consists of 117 small islands, with 150 canals and 409 bridges!

There are a variety of man-made and physical features in this image. A few of these features include: Ponte della Liberta, the bridge connecting the city to the mainland, huge shipping canals in Marghera and the on northwestern section of Venice and the Venice Marco Polo Airport. There are also numerous islands visible in the Venetian Lagoon, some of which are Isola di San Francesco del Deserto, Sacca Sessola, Isola di San Clemente, Isola Santo Spirito, Isola di Poveglia, Isola Le Vignole and San Michele.
