Vienna is located in eastern Austria, and is the country's largest city and capital. This city is the host to numerous vital international organizations such as OPEC and the United Nations.

These include: Stockerau, Tulin an der Donau, Langenlebam-Oberaigen, Klosterneuburg, Gablitz, Purkersdorf, Donaustadt, Floridsdorf, Himberg, Wiener Neudorf, Bruck an der Leitha, Deutsch-Wagram, Strasshof an der Nordbahn, Gansemdorf, Wolkersdorf im Weinviertel, Komeuburg, Baden, Traiskirchen and Berndorf.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:


There are numerous physical and man-made features visible in this image. These include a beautiful patchwork of farming fields northeast of Vienna and the Danube River. The easternmost arm of the Alps can be seen in the southwestern portion of this image. Many parks and natural areas visible include: Augarten, Donaupark, Naturpark Fohrenberge, Lainzer Tiergarten, Baumgartner Wald and Naturpark Eichenhain. Other features include the Danube River, Neusiedler See and the Vienna International Airport.
