Zurich is located on the north-western end of Lake Zurich, where the river Limmat supplies the lake. It is the largest city in Switzerland.

Visible Features in the Satellite Image:


Some of the physical features which are visible in this image include the large lakes, Greifensee, Pfaffiker See and Zurichsee. Some of the smaller lakes and rivers visible are Turlersee,Unterer Chatzensee, Oberer Chatzensee, Flachsee, the Reusse River and Limmat River. Other man-made and physical features include the Zurich-Zumikon Golf Club, Zurich Airport, Wildpark, Uetliberg Mountain, Pfannenstiel Mountain, and the Lagern Ridge can be seen in the upper left corner.
